Michael Ellis is a multimedia artist from Albuquerque, NM. His work deals with memory, trauma and their effects on the construction of identity. He is a survivor of childhood sexual violence, a subject which he frequently deals with in his work. He is a father of three, and is an MFA candidate at the Southwest University of Visual Arts in Albuquerque, NM.
